This post just makes me hungry! As a fussy eater these are my go-to meals. I love anything bread-based, italian and mild in taste.
1. Funghi Pizza
I love pizza - thick, thin, extra cheesy, tomatoey. Pizzas with mushrooms are my favourite though. The short time I was a vegetarian, I said I could live off mushrooms. They are a favourite in a fry-up. Suppose I've gone off topic. I love pizza though!
2. Macaroni Cheese
I would almost call myself an expert-macaroni taster! I love it. Although I've not had it for a while, I must say my favourite has been at a pub in Dundee.
3. Gammon & Egg
This is a pub favourite! I don't like peas though. I detest them. At home I usually get beans instead.
4. Beef Stew
I think it's just my Mum's recipe that I love (I believe). Bits of carrot, leak and the beef is yum!
5. Chicken Korma & Naan Bread
This is my all-time favourite curry. I love different naan breads - I had a lovely cheesy naan bread when I was visiting in Aberdeen, and the bread was pretty big too. Unusually I dislike rice though! I also like mild chicken dishes. I've enjoyed butter chicken too.
6. Dippy Egg
This has to be my childhood favourite meal, and to this day I still love it. It's the meal I want when I'm sick, sad or just feel a bit rubbish.
7. Chocolate
At one stage I used to have to have a little bit of chocolate everyday. Now I have two bags of giant buttons from Aldi every week. I love white chocolate and milk chocolate the best. I'm weird with my chocolate though; I hate chocolate and biscuits combined together. For example I don't like Kit Kats or Maltesters.
8. Chips and Cheese
I love these at the end of a night out. Sometimes I crave them at the start of a night out and sometimes I only go out so I can eat them at the end of a night. They are a yummy favourite.
9. Ham & Cheese Baguette
A lunch favourite! Ham and cheese are like peanut butter and jam - needed together. I love ham and cheese toasties, ham and cheese baguettes, ham and cheese together on a small plate...Yum!
10. Butternut Squash Soup
I've loved butternut squash since having pumpkin soup made for me. I used to only have tomato soup. It was incredible! Now I'm a convert. I love that. I also like carrot and corrinder, but butternut squash is my favourite. I might try pumpkin soup since it's the season!
I hope you like my list, and look forward to hearing what your favourite foods are! I'm always looking for healthier foods to fall in love with.
